How to play Fortnite on Android with Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) on Game Pass

Ever since Google removed Fortnite from the Play Store on Android, Epic Games has been working to give gamers new ways to play their megahit battle royale on mobile. Previously, Epic provided players with ways to bypass the ban and install the game, but now Microsoft and Epic Games have partnered to make Fortnite available to play on mobile via Xbox Cloud Games streaming, and you don’t need to. an Xbox Game Pass. account, just do it!

Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as launching the Xbox app on your Android device. Here’s how to restart the famous Battle Royale.

If you don’t already have an existing Xbox account, you’ll need to create one. Fortunately, it is a fairly simple process. Once done, you can create or log into your Epic Games account and link the two from there. You will not be able to directly link your accounts through the Xbox website.

1. Go to xbox.com.

2. Select Access in the upper right corner of the page.

5. Fill in your surname.

Once you have an Xbox account, you will need to link your xbox account an epic games account. There are several ways to do this, but if you’ve already played Fortnite on an Xbox device, you can skip to adding Xbox Cloud Games to your home screen.

If you already have an Epic Games account…

1. Sign in to your epic games account on the Epic Games website or the Epic Games launcher.

2. Click on the blue menu icon at the top right of the website.

3. Click on your display name.

4. Select Bill.

5. Look for the tab titled connections and press the button accounts language.

6. Find the option with the xbox logo and press the blue button that says Link.

7. A window will appear asking you to sign in to your Xbox account.

8. Select the blue button that says account link and sign in.

If you don’t have an Epic Games account…

1. Go to Epic Games Website.

2. Select Connect with Xbox Live.

3. From here, you’ll be prompted to sign in to your account as you normally would on Xbox.com.

Once everything is linked, we also recommend adding Xbox Cloud Gaming to your home screen. This is completely optional, but adding it to your Android device’s home screen will make jumping even faster than opening Chrome every time you want to play Fortnite.

Once you’ve completed all the steps above, all you need to do is open your home screen shortcut and find Fortnite. From there, tap play and Fortnite will open.
