AEW and NJPW premiere their first joint PPV with “Forbidden Door” 2022 on June 26. The event takes place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

– Tonight is AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, the pre-show begins with the arrival of Aaron Solo and QT Marshall followed by YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto for the first game.

QT Marshall and Aaron Solo vs. Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi

At the end of the match, Hirooki Goto takes Aaron Solo on his shoulders, Yoshi-Hashi Superkicks him and then Goto throws his Ushigoroshi at him. Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi finish off with the Shoto to take the victory.

Lance Archer vs. Nick Comoroto

At the end of the match, Lance Archer knocks out Nick Comoroto in the corner of the ring with a punch, then charges his Crucifix Bomb for the win.

– Clark Connors says he has this opportunity because of Tomohiro Ishii’s injury and wishes him a speedy recovery. He is here tonight to show what he can do and surprise the world. He ends with his phrase “Let’s Get Wild”.

Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland vs. Suzuki-gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado)

Late in the match, Swerve Scott knocked out El Desperado with a Superkick, then hit him with a Slingshot Double Stomp and Keith Lee followed up with his Ground Zero on Yoshinobu Kanemaru for the win.

Winners: Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland

8-man tag team match

Gunn Club (Austin, Colten and Billy Gunn) and Max Caster vs THE DKC, Kevin Knight, Alex Coughlin and Yuya Uemura

At the end of the match, Billy Gunn brings his Fameasser into The DKC and then Max Caster finishes it off with an Elbow Drop for the win.

Winners: Gunn Club (Austin, Colten and Billy Gunn) and Max Caster

– The AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV starts with the commentators welcoming us and the arrival of the Jericho Appreciation Society followed by Minoru Suzuki. He is followed by Shota Umino, Wheeler Yuta and Eddie Kingston.

The winning team will have the advantage of Blood and Guts.

Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki, and Sammy Guevara vs. Shota Umino, Wheeler Yuta, and Eddie Kingston

During the match, Shota Umino uses a Tornado DDT on Chris Jericho then follows up with a Brainbuster but it’s not enough.

At the end of the match, Shota Umino got rid of Samy Guevara and Minoru Suzuki with elbows, but was completely stunned by Chris Jericho who gave him his Judas Effect for the win.

Winner Takes All – IWGP and Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c ROH) vs. Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan (c IWGP) vs. Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta)

At the end of the match, Rocky Romero throws himself against the ropes, but is greeted by the FTR who load his Big Rig for the victory.

Winners and new IWGP and Ring of Honor tag team champions: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c ROH)

– Juice Robinson says that he is the true IWGP USA Champion and tonight’s match will be a match of contenders. Jay White says that Juice Robinson beat Moxley, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Will Ospreay to win that title and never lost it, so he is the rightful champion. He ends by saying that he too will beat three other wrestlers tonight in the 4 Way Match.

AEW All-Atlantic Championship – 4-Way Match

Tomohiro Ishii is injured and is replaced by Connors.

Pac vs. Miro vs. Malakai Black vs. Clark Connors

At the end of the match, Malakai Black tries to use a Jijugatame in clarks connors and meanwhile Pac takes the opportunity to put on a 450 splash to break the hold then continue with your brutalizer stop submission victory over Clark connors.

Hiromu takahashi he cannot go to America, because he has a fever, so he is withdrawn from the party.

AEW Women’s Championship – Singles Match

Pink Thunder (c) vs. Toni Storm

Late in the match, Thunder Rosa blocks Toni Storm’s Storm Zero attempt, then twists his arm and sends him to the ground hard. Thunder Rosa then continues with their final grudge match for the victory.

IWGP United States Championship – Singles Match

Will Ospreay (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

At the end of the match, Will Ospreay stuns Orange Cassidy with a hidden Blade and finishes it off with his Stormbreaker for the win.

Winner: Will Ospreay

After the match, Will Ospreay and the Aussie Open take on Orange Cassidy. Roppongi Vice comes to his rescue but they are quickly pulled out of harm’s way, then Katsuyori Shibata’s music plays and he cleans up and then celebrates with Orange Cassidy his way.

Zack Saber Jr vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Late in the match, Claudio Castagnoli lands a Popup European Uppercut on Zack Saber Jr. then a Discus Lariat and finishes off with his Ricola Bomb for the win.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship – 4-Way Match

Jay White (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada vs. Adam Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole

At the end of the match, Jay White pinned Kazuchika Okada with his Bladerunner and then pinned Adam Cole for the win.

Winner: Jay White (c)

AEW Interim World Championship – Singles Match

Jon Moxley vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

At the end of the match, Jon Moxley landed a Rear Naked Choke on Hiroshi Tanahashi and then followed up with his Death Rider for the win.

Winner and Interim AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley

After the match, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jon Moxley shake hands, but Daniel Garcia followed by the Jericho Appreciation Society comes to attack him. Wheeler Yuta, Santana, Ortiz, Eddie Kingston and then Claudio Castagnoli come to chase away the JAS.

The show ends with William Regal, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Santana and Ortiz in the ring celebrating with an Eddie Kingston berating Claudio Castagnoli.
